CHERYL R. RILEY, ARTIST

Since 1986, Cheryl R. Riley has created public art for cities and the permanent collections of museums and private collectors.  In addition to being exhibited nationally, she has taught studio classes and lectured at universities, museums and prestigious arts schools, served on museum and arts non-profit boards and written about contemporary artists of the African Diaspora for popular culture magazines.  She is a National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Individual Artists grant recipient and is currently pursuing residencies and grants to realize her next vision for a series of installations dealing with Memories, Family and Loss.
